Stash away all you have learned, don't dwell on what you did wrong, add it to your list of "what I learned". Start a new journal and make the new quit happen as soon as you are equipped to do so mentally. Please don't say it's not "the right time" EVERYDAY IS A GOOD DAY TO QUIT SMOKING. I said I was going to quit smoking "soon" it took me about 4 years to try. I'm sorry now that I waited so long to start my quit! Come back and join us, there is strength in numbers. Hi everyone, i'm just letting you know that i have gone back to smoking, i seem to have lost the plot. I could not get back the motivation after i had them few cigarettes. I think what golferman wrote about drowning in emotions of the quit is what happened to me. you carry on with life and everyone thinks that you are doing OK, but inside you feel that you are ready to explode. If i could go back to before i had them cigs, i would, but what is done is done. I have learned from this mistake so all is not lost and i know that i will be back shortly when i am fully charged again. I am already thinking of new ways to cope when it gets too tough. I want to thank eveyone who kept me here for 48 days, i know i would not have accomplished that without you all. Good luck to everyone, and remember N.O.P.E, or you will end up smoking as many as,or more than before. I will keep coming here and reading the posts and when i am ready i will be back, ready to take on the big fight again.

Bambi, Right now, this is the nicodemon talking! You can start a new quit if you want to. But, I understand taking some time to prepare. But come back soon! Crave the Quit! It does get tough again right around the 45-50 day mark. I think it's psychological. For me anyway. My brain keeps saying "See? You did it now reward yourself with one...." But I know better. I've fallen into that trap in prior quits. Not gonna happen this time. I hope you catch yourself real fast and get back on the wagon. The sooner the better.... Good luck.
