I understand, penguin. I have been there. Please don't stay away too long. Take some time to figure out what your stumbling blocks are and how to get around, over them, or through them.
We CAN do this!

once again to take some time out, find renewed determination and commitment.
Don't take this as a lecture....only something to consider....It was "MY" experience.
After a period quit,I realized that in my own mind, I didn't find more determination and commitment while I smoked....cause when I was smoking the addiction was running things. I found the determination when I finally weakly croaked "no more". My commitment grew from that point on. I hope you see this.....I didn't develope commitment and determination while the beast had me by the throat making me smoke. It's true that most of us have a longing inside to beat this thing....but to bring that to bear we have to say that first "no". This site and the people here are like lifelines that are being thrown toward you. You have to find that will to first reach out and grab one.....and then you determine to hang on to it....you will be drug through the waves and the sharks...you will swallow the horrid stuff when you dip below the surface at times....but you will hang on....cause you will ultimately reach the safety of the ship.
Please, quickly reach out and grab one of those lines.....don't let the addiction hold you under water till you either drown or drift out of sight!
Katy
