Charlie, I hate these kind of posts, but I understand and you do too, that this journey will always have bumps in the road. We all know that we are just one puff away, what a horrid addiction. Don't let the nico-deamon make you feel like a failure. If you do he will eat you alive. So put him where he belongs, dragging his tail behind him...Let him know that this is YOUR quit and NOT his, AMD THAT YOU OWN IT!! I wish you had came to the board and posted, did you think of posting? We are all here for you Charlie, so anytime you need support please post. You can do this, I know how bad you must feel. When I looked at your days you are close to me. The thought run through my mind, we are never really safe. We just have to be aware of what triggers get to us... I still have problems every time I get in my car. Even though I had it cleaned and it does not smell like cig's, I just smoked so much while in the car. So I have toothpicks and hard candy in the car. Charlie, I am glad that you are still with us and we look forward to your next post... Thanks for asking. I'm doing ok. I'm one of those who has to keep her distance sometimes, I almost become obsessed with the whole smokin thing and sometimes just need to not even think about it. It's not that I don't really need the support and I am greatful. But my personality is that I have to force myself to think of other things. It's been a few weeks actually since my slip and I haven't had one since. Not to say I haven't thought about it. I have. I just take it one day at a time! Thanks for thinkin of me. Charlie girl

My quit meter showes 121 Days! But I have to confess that I slipped!! I was really having a tough day........ Everything was going wrong and all I could think about was having one to calm me down. My husband said "go ahead" after I told him about the weird cravings coming out of no where! That pissed me off! Maybe I will I said!! And long story short I convinced myself that I needed to for a number of different reasons! It was the most horrible drag I have ever had!! I smoked it anyway!! I wanted to make myself sick, I didn't! I wanted to hate it I didn't! Have I smoked since, I haven't! Will I smoke again, I wont!! I still want one, I realize I will still always want one, until I figure out how to handle my stress without them. I am using this as a leasson to be learned. If anyone has a bad day, read this and know, that the only person I let down was me, I have to live with the fact that I had a smoke for the wrong reason, at the time I convinced myself it was a test, to see if I really still wanted to stay quit, Guess what, I do, and that's all that matters. charlie girl, I'm glad that you still want to be quit. Now, you must realize that since you have nicotine back in your system, you might have to fight the cravings a little bit more than usual, so be on guard! Don't give in to the temptation! Smoking will NOT... I repeat, NOT do anything good for you!!!!! You will continue to have tough days whether you smoke or not. You MUST learn to deal with them without smoking. Make a plan for what you will do next time. Crave the Quit! Hello Friend, I don't know whether its Lady like, But I would reccommend Gritting Your Teeth, And getting the Eye of the Tiger, Yes, it is so easy to get strssed out in today's fast speed society, and can't get off that roller-coaster of a ride, There were a few time when I quit when a cigerette between my fingers would have felt like a life saver, instead, I cut a milk shake straw in half, and breathed deeply from that straw, a few minutes, and it served the same purpose, and I took that little tidbit from a Lady in a newspaper, who said it worked for Her, when a craving came Her way, So get back on that horse Friend, For I have faith in You, Smokless In Oklahoma :)
