orel, Wherever you find the motivation and true commitment to quit is up to you. When you do find it, however you find it, it will guide you to your quit. Many people struggle to find that total resolve to quit, but when they do, the quit just happens. It doesn't matter if they go cold turkey, use an NRT or whatever, the quit will take over their life and the process will begin. Open yourself up to your quit. Don't fear it. Don't be apprehensive. Embrace your quit as a mother embraces her newly born child. Quitting in a way is much like the miracle of birth, a quitter is experiencing a new life... one free from the bonds of addiction. Live your quit and love yourself for your new life. Best wishes. [b][color=Green]Be Strong. Be Smart. oh boy, i did it again! after 3 days of not smoking - i am smoking again. what is wrong with me? it is going like this again and again and again. in theory i have learned everything about quitting and still... am i so weak? can i really can win this habbite of 32 years? i want so much to quit amoking, but after 2,3 days i just smoke and trying to avoid this forum so you won't tell me not to smoke...it's cazy, i know. what to do? i must stop smoking, and i am starting a new job next week and ofcorse there is not smoking there. i set tomorrow as a new quitting date, and i'll try again. but even i don't believe in me any more. please tell me what to do.

Problem solved...I truly hope so. It just don't get no better than the big guy on your side at times like this. One should enter into a new job with great confidence and excitment to go with it. You were beginning to beat up on yourself to much. Please remember that you are having a relapse just at the hardest part of the quit. Obviousily we all know the quitting is easy....the staying is hard. Day 3-5 has always been the worst time of it for most. Their is nothing magical about waiting another day to pull the trigger again. Pull it now. Get mad as you can at that monster tugging at your body and mind. Show out that it shall not hold you in bondage any longer. Get rid of those smokes and lets get it on. I have you on my prayer list now also. You can do this...I know it. Not tomorrow - but today. Orel, Get back in the game, you can do this! What caused this slip? Start there and make sure you do not slip through that crack again, or any other for that matter. Really prepare yourself and hang on, it will be bumpy. take it one step at a time and post here before even thinking about lighting one! Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
