Well done on five months - you are obviously feeling the benefits now - isn't it great. I was always considered by friends and family as the person least likely to ever succeed stopping smoking so am smugly very please with myself! It has got to the stage that I have to remind some newish friends that I was once a smoker....BUT I still have twinges. I would never smoke again but have resigned myself to the fact that I will always have an element of "tugging" on my mind in certain situations. My father passed away in December and I was absolutely distraught BUT did not have consider having a cigarette YET Christmas day after the meal I really did have a "moment". Take care and enjoy your freedom Oonagh My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/15/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 316 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,591 Amount Saved: 1896 Life Gained: Days: 30 Hrs: 0 Mins: 28 Seconds: 26

Kevin, These pangs will eventually dwindle. If they are still persistent, don't hesitate to check with your doctor to rule out anything medical. Congratulations on 5 months! Excellent achievement :) Keep Strong, Josie _____________________ The SSC Support Team.
