I'm back... A year older but as dumb as ever

welcome back Neek ... I'm new around here as well. Hang tough and as the song goes "lean on me when you're not strong" but lean on the whole group. You will prevale. Hi Neek, I am new so don't remember you but welcome back anyway. You are not dumber because you came back - with the experience behind you that actually means that you are smarter this time. Forgot to mention.... the reason I'm a year older is because I turned 26 on 2/3/06.

Not sure how many of you will remember me. I "quit" on new years, came clean to the girlfriend about lying. Felt good for 16 days. Then I sort of dissapeared. Hmmmmm..... I wonder why. That's right folks, mister high and mighty smoked. Never a full relapse, but I would sneak one here and there. Weird I know. A pack lasted me a whole 2 weeks once. I would binge, usually on a roadtrip. Then trickle the rest of the pack off. "When they're all gone I'll climb back on the horse" was my montra. Well 4 or 5 days would go by and I'd get another pack. I'm back because I'm giving it my all again. My girlfriend was so happy for me when I made it past two weeks before. She has trouble believing me now, because of the lying. I think I will start another post on this. Just saying high, again. Hi Neek, sure I remember ya. You're an Ash Kicker! I'm glad you came back. Now that you had your little set back, you can get down to business. You know your triggers and you know what you have to do now. Now climb back on that horse again! Hi Neek and welcome back!!!!!! There are so many of us who wish we had quit when we were 26. So belated happt birthday and believe me, you will be giving yourself the best gift in the world if you will make this your final quit. Remember N.O.P.E., not one puff ever. That's all it takes...just don't take that first puff. We're cheering you on. Hi Neek! Did the same thing last year. I quit on New Years and fell off the wagon and the site for many months. I quit again this summer and leaned on this site and the great people for support. Not one cig since this summer's quit! If I can do it, you can too!
