Poppy - I am so sorry to hear that you slipped. I was begining to worry about you as I did not see any posts for a few days. I have been crazy busy at work and not sticking too close to the site. You of course are totally welcomed back with wide open arms and {{{{HUGE BEAR HUGS}}}}}. We all want to see you succeed and know that you can. Just believe in yourself and don't beat yourself up so much about it. "STUFF HAPPENS". I am sure 90% of the people here have tried and failed at least once to quit. The important thing is to never quit trying. We Love you and Happy Monday down under. Poppy, don't be ashamed. Guess what? We are all humans. Beautiful, flawed humans. But what makes us different from our hairy ancestors is our ability to make choices. Maybe not always good ones, but the best ones for ourselves. You have made a slip, but you will pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again. La La La. Be good to yourself, beautiful human. redrosie :)

OK...pick yourself up, dust of the muck and lets get back to it. I'm sorry that your hubby started again but who are you quitting for? Your quit is your own. Don't be ashamed, just get angry at the cigarette companies that are killing you and don't give them the satisfaction! brent My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/8/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 45 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 321 Amount Saved: 225 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 15 Mins: 18 Seconds: 16

Poppy, You are not a failure. You just had a little set back. The good thing is that you have not given up. Climb back on and give this addiction another bop upside the head. Hang tough, you can do this. It is still the month of January, so you can still be an ash kicker. Poppy Just think of it as practise, now this one is the real thing. I know how hard it is when hubby smokes, I have the same problem but I believe when our other halves see us succeed they will follow goodluck from the other girl from down under My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/14/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 226 Amount Saved: $88.2 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 21 Mins: 42 Seconds: 25

Poppy. Get back up here on this quit wagon. Hubby may be smoking again but that doesn't mean you have to. This is your life you are fighting for. You can still experience the freedom of being a non-smoker. There are a lot of quitters around here with smoking spouses and they've been quit a long time too so it can be done. Put the cigarettes down and get determined! You can do it. Chin up.... best foot forward... Here we go! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 205 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,116 Amount Saved: $717.5 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 3 Mins: 18 Seconds: 58

Poppy, There are lots of us who have fallen and then gotten back up. The important thing is that you are coming here to try again. Don't be sorry... be determined to beat this addiction once and for all! Welcome back! Crave the Quit!
