Hi Joe.
Ahhh, fate..........
This post of yours came at exactly the right time. This is exactly where I am ~ an empty void surrounds me that was previously filled with my lovely pack of smokes. You write the words so well, so "to the point". I had a (very) brief moment yesterday where I thought that if I smoked again I would remember how bad I wanted to quit and THAT would reaffirm my reasons for this journey. As if. We all know I / we are one drag away from 20 a day. I keep doing my self talk about needing to experience each season smoke free and each holiday smoke free to be healed when what I'm really needing is to crank the stereo and listen to "Let it Be" a few hundred times!
This post needs to be printed and put in my purse to read and re-read and re-read.
Thank you!
