Hey everyone, 2 weeks and feeling great!! As long as I keep a positive attitude i think I will do fine! I don't see cigarettes as something i am giving up, I see it as something good, I am really proud of myself. I feel like emotionally and logically I "get" this quit. I put coping mechanisms in place I have the right mentality and thoughts whenever i crave cigarettes. Quitting isn't hard for me. I dont see it as a sacrifice, I want to quit more than I want to keep smoking. I haven't been around any smokers though really except one i walked by who was a stranger. Last weekend I hung out with a non smoking friend and my sister has only smoked one cigarette once in front of me, outside not in the car thank god. I am not triggered by anything but stress. Like some people are triggered by drinking coffee and after eating but I am not at all. Like i used to think I NEEDED to smoke before i went to bed or I couldnt get to sleep but that was false. I CAN get to sleep without a cigarette. I looked at my calender and I marked my quit day as january 31st, but I think I smoked my final cigarette that day. So my quit day would be Feb. 1st still right? How are my other Knights doing?
