Is this normal?

Haha I can totally relate to the 'surplus hot air reserves'...I mean I didn't know I could store that amount of 'air' :p Well I'm happy this might only be for a relative short period, and I do drink a lot of water, as I somehow believe it will cleanse me body. Thanks for the props ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 24 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 366 Amount Saved: $48 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 5 Mins: 13 Seconds: 14

Hi everybody! Ok...erm...if you are of weak nature, do skip this post ;) Has anyone else noticed that you poop at different time during the day than before you quit? I have. When I smoked, my intestines almost had a schedule for when I was to empty them. It was always:
After breakfast When I got home from work in the afternoon And right before I went to bed
3 times a day, I don't know if that a lot, but that's what I used to. Now, however, that "schedule" has changed. I can't poop in the mornings anymore, which is quite annoying since it has move to about 2 hours ahead, which means I have to use the toilet at work and that means I use about 10 mins of my break on that... I am supposing this is due to my metamorphosis (or whatever it's called) changing, however I'm not sure. Well just wanted to know if this is normal, if it's something that is going to last forever, or if it's just a phase, because I'd like my old "schedule" back :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/4/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 23 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 351 Amount Saved: $46 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 2 Mins: 59 Seconds: 7

Gumphy, yeah. Speaking from experience & posts on this subj, - the first few weeks you can expect to be a little 'bung-ed up', for me approx. 4 weeks. It's due to the lack of sugars, fats (natural lubracants) that are being released into our bodies. Smoked a cigarette triggered our bodies to release these naturally stored up reserves.....When we quit the smoking thing our bodies have to 're-learn' to do this hence the 'bunged up' period & initially a healing period .... some people incl. myself had 'surplus hot air reserves' if you get my drift. :8o: Thats also another reason why it's good to do regular exercise, to use up these naturally occuring sugar / fat reserves. Our bodies sort themselves out, physical symptoms due to healing usually last up to 60 days. ;p My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 481 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 12,040 Amount Saved: $3126.5 Life Gained: Days: 69 Hrs: 0 Mins: 8 Seconds: 19
