Hello everyone. Well I'm on day 8 and doing okay. What my brain won't tell me to try and get me to have a smoke. Today I feel sad for never being able to smoke again, what the heck is that all about??? Like I really want to? Hopefully my attitude will change after reading here for awhile and set my brain straight. Staying strong and loving it!! Thanks for the words of wisdom. I know what you say is true. I know I need to stay strong but sometimes it is soooo hard. With you guys here to help "carry" us, it really does help me dig deeper. All I can say is, without you guys, I wouldn't stand a chance against the NicoDemon. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you D2Q My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/29/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 170 Amount Saved: $24 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 18 Mins: 53 Seconds: 1

Thanks Mr. Ed. As I said before, the knowledge and experience of the "old" timers really helps me get through each day. You give me the strength to keep up the fight along with lots of laughter. Thanks a bunch. Hi All I thought it would be neat to have a weekly check in where we all can pop in and let each other know we are still around. Share your progress, achievements, the good, the bad, the ugly! Anything goes. We want to know how you are doing! I am doing very well! I am working on day 23 and feeling good. Had a rough night last night but didn't think about smoking at all. My son didn't get his nap so we were cranky pants all night! I was at my wits end but made it until bedtime! Here is hoping that today is better! I'm here too!! D2Q ~ I know what you are talking about. I felt this overwhelming fear feeling in my first 2 weeks quit. This fear was because I thought I would never smoke again. It sounds nuts now, but that fear was so real at that time. The only way around it is not to think about never smoking. Don't look beyond today. It lessens that fear of "never". It will eventually go away. Take care all!! ;) 4my2girls What Consumes Your Thoughts Controls Your Life My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 93 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,804 Amount Saved: $304.11 Life Gained: Days: 7 Hrs: 12 Mins: 31 Seconds: 55

Nascarfan-I want you to take a look at your $$$ saved... you will be able to afford those race tickets before you know it! I am doing really great on my prep and attitude this week. I am reading my rear end off, listening to the Carr CD, and taking away many-many smokes from their schedule. I feel like a national holiday is coming up on Sunday!
