Here are some thoughts for the day - I have pinched these from a quit smoking campaign here is Australia. Smoker #1: "I'm only a social smoker" Fast forward 10 years to a very ill person "I haven't been out of this room in months." Smoker #2: "Nup. I don't think I can quit." Fast forward 10 years. Doctor says "Nup. I don't think I can operate." Smoker #3: "The last time I tried to quit I gained 3 kgs." (6.5 pounds) Fast forward 10 years to a very ill person. "I've lost 23 kgs." (51 pounds) Smoker #4: "I can't leave the house in the morning without a cigarette." Fast forward 10 years to a very ill person. "I can't leave the house without the oxygen tank." QUITTING IS HARD NOT QUITTING IS HARDER Love alison :) Kick the herb to the Kerb My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/16/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 27 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 834 Amount Saved: $337.5 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 22 Mins: 36 Seconds: 58

I really like #4- the oxygen tank. At my work over the years, there have been several women, never men, that have had to log oxygen tanks around with them all the time. Usually, they are super thin and you can hear their labored breathing. It's very sad. What's sadder now is that all have left this earth for a better place... Yes, good visualization.
