Smoking Dream at 1 month

19 years ago 0 1521 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Ally, Many members will admit to having these very dreams. I believe that this is something that we all experience to make us realize how real this wonderful goal is and how precious our quit really is. Stay strong, keep up the great work and congratulations on 31 days quit. Take Care, Melanie ____________________ The SSC Support Team

So I have reached my 1 month mark and last night I had my first smoking dream. In my dream I recognized that I was 1 month smoke free but I was out with friends drinking and they were all smoking. I decided to join in because a few smokes would be okay and I would just get back into my quit the next day. The junkie talk is even in dreams - never leaves you alone does it? I woke up this morning feeling like it was so real - that I really had smoked last night. But I know that I didn't and glad that I hadn't. The wierd thing about my dream is that I don't drink anymore either. I have never been a heavy drinker, I just hardly do it anymore since graduating college. Okay, sorry for the rambling, just wanted to share. Hey Ally14, Thanks for coming here and posting. I had the smoking dream just 2 weeks into my quit. You are correct... it seems the Junkie never leaves us alone! Keep the quit... were only a day apart! Ally 14, Dreams are very common, and I have had my share, but just remember the real dream. That is the one that you are walking through each and every day without smoking. You have a great quit going and congratulations..... :) Blessing sent your way.... Ally, Smoking dreams are VERY common! I've had... oh.... 100 or so?!?! Well, OK, not that many... but a lot!!! They seem so real, don't they?!?! But just be glad that it was just a dream. No harm done when you're dreaming. Crave the Quit!
