ME AGAINNNNNNNNNNNN

HEY EVERYONE Its me again, just checking in and seeing how everyones doing. I think I am doing okay despite being sheltered, meaning I couldnt buy smokes even if I wanted to because I dont drive. Ive pretty much been home all eek. Except once where I was out, and I left my fake i.ds at home knowing that I could easily buy cigarettes where I was. My throat hurts a bit and really is a reinforcement not to smoke because smoking will just make it worse. I feel like the best method thats helping me is to think that a craving only lasts three minutes when I think about that it makes my craving go away faster than three minutes. and when things are really making me angry insttead of lighting up Ill just take a long deep breath in and count to 6 or so and let it out. It helps. I am eating alot more I think, snacking alot but I dont care too much the first week is a fragile time I know. So I am trying to just think about doing one thing at a time. At one point today though i forgot for a second that I quit! I was thinking Ok time 4 a smoke now, than im like I 2quit and there was relief following! :-) I am drinking alot of juice and just trying to stay close here but also trying to take my mind off smoking. My sisters down and she smokes Im pretty sure still. I havent seen her smoke yet though , she was entertaing the thought of quitting with me a few days ago but I dont think she has and if she has I dont think shed tell me straight out right away. It might be a trigger to smoke, it will be a test but i will get through it I have before, i can now. anyways i am tired and my fingers keep slipping on the keyboard and its making me maddddd. The only eotional side effect i can think of right now is anger and irritability, and crying alot but im trying 2 keep a handle on that. ciao! btw its 12:30 so i think its the tenth smoke free day who hoooo!!!! :-) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 10 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 50 Amount Saved: $80 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 14 Mins: 58 Seconds: 51
