the hole

well since i have quit smoking, of course i have gained some weight, so the first of the year i went on a diet, and started going to the gym. Yesterday, i was hungry, and i wanted a cig. I finally realized that i have a hole, and i want to fill it with something. I have never had to deal with this before, because when i was on a diet before, when i got hungry i would just have a cig to fill it up. Now i dont have that so i have to deal with my feelings. And then another funny thing, when i was leaving the gym this morning, there were two woment standing out front and one of them was smoking. I thought that was kind of strange, but of course when i would get done working out, i would just wait until i got into my car to light up. I am so glad im not doing that anymore! Hey Doodle....I know all about the void. It's almost like losing a best friend. You will find things to fill your void with. I have filled mine with life and all kinds of experiences I didn't have before I quit. Take a walk and really take in your surroundings. The world looks so much different as a non-smoker. Enjoy all the things you missed out on as a smoker. Congratulations on 56 days quit. You are doing awesome. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 199 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,995 Amount Saved: $696.5 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 14 Mins: 30 Seconds: 19
