I was on the patch and had insanely vivid dreams. Didn't bother me when I had nice dreams :D , but lately I had nightmares so I took it off. Day 2 without the patch, and I still have vivid dreams, a bit less intense though.

Maybe it's like I've read - I am just sleeping better and therefore dreaming more!

I too am having really vivid dreams - but I am not using the patches - so maybe its just quitting that causes it? Love76, I had very vivid dreams and I was using the patches. I had to take it off at night. But if you are one that craves that first cig. it may be hard for you to take it off. I was okay, I would put a new one on the nightstand and put it on before I got up. When I got to the 7mg I could sleep with it. You have a great quit going so hang tuff!!!! I also have snow 3", and that is the Mt's in VA for you. It's not out of the question for it to snow in April. It did last year 3 times. I am not using the patch but I am chewing the gum. The first week or so I would get major night sweats, but it didn't last much longer than a week.

I am also using the patches. I have vivid dreams almost every night. I think it is kind of cool though. I havent had any nightmares just vivid dreams. I find because of these dreams I have a hard time getting up in the morning. Britt....Maybe not smoking does cause vivid dreams but the patch causes them too. That's why a lot of people can't wear them when they go to sleep. They cause vivid dreams and can even cause nightmares. Hi, Love76. Are you using the patch? Many people have had weird dreams that stopped when they took it off at night. Some people have also mentioned they seem to sweat more now, too.
