Good, positive information, Lindsey. Thanks.
Now if we could just get tobacco use recognized as the drug addiction that it is and expand the "negative" marketing to include all tobacco products...
Baby steps.

Headline in Washington Post:
Smoking Falls Off Dramatically in U.S.
It went on to say-
The government has determined that there has been a 20 decline in smokers in the US in the last 2 years. Get this - Only 378 Billion cigarettes were sold in the US in 2005. That equates to 50% of what the consumption was in 1948, when the population was half of what it is today.
The research attributes the decline to the $240 Billion settlement, hence the higher cost of cigarettes, restrictions on advertising, and a shift in public perception as the dangers of smoking are more aggressively and widely publicized.
The goal by 2010 is to have only 17% of the youths and 12% of the adults still smoking. 21.7% of high schoolers still smoke, as do 20.9% of adults.
Take pride in being part of the effort to eradicate nicotine consumption in the world.
Enough said.
