    Cigarettes Not Smoked

I just wanted to let everyone know I am still here and smoke free. I must tell you this has been REALLY HARD, and I never thought I would make it this far. This is what you guys refer to has HECK week, and I don't know who named it, but it is so appropriate. The actual physical cravings are not as bad (but oh so bad still), but the psychological cravings are killing me. It's like I am two people this morning, or else the the little nicodemon is sitting on my head telling me all the reasons it would be alright to go buy some smokes and just LIGHT UP. I don't have to name them, I'm sure you guys know them already, but man he is a persistent little devil. I have these conversations with him, to myself or even out loud. I find this works better, if I talk to him, then I fight better. He's suc a little snit!! Just does not want to give me up to the smoke free zone. But I'm OK right now, right this minute. It's a little scary-fighting with yourself (we all know the true nature of the little demon, don't we)-------- Bonbons

Bonbon. I hear ya. I had that devil visit me the other day too. He told me how 1 ciggie wouldn't hurt, and nobody would ever know. He sure was coming on strong! I just kept on thinking how ashamed in myself I would feel if I gave in. I guess then he left to visit you. Here's to us for not giving in.
