depression

Hi Sherry,

I am sorry to hear you are not doing well. Depression can feel very hopeless at times. But it can get easier. Seeking support is a great first step. Have you tried any form of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) before? CBT is considered the gold standard treatment for depression and that is what this program is based on. When you feel up to it start on session one and slowly work your way through. Be sure to do all the homework and take notes. Taking notes is important as you will be unable to review past sessions due to how the program is set up. The homework is important as this is where change takes place -it takes a lot of practice. Have you had a chance to get started yet? Any questions so far?

How are you feeling today?
