Decisions, decisions, and more decisions

It is really difficult to make important decisions. While it is also important to rationalize the pros and cons, in the end our feelings will provide the answer with these more difficult decisions.

Sounds like a big choice to make.Weighing  the pros and cons is always  a good way to work on a tough choice. Also, talking about  it to those who know you is another good way to sort out your thoughts.  You don't have to make the choice now. You can always live there for a certain time period and then reassess.

Hello everyone,

I am battling with a very hard issue. Last year, my husband and I have moved to a town that he dislikes. We relocated because of my job and he found a job shortly after me. Since we moved, all he has done was find everything wrong with the town we live in. We moved from a city to a small town of 7,000 people. It's a shock I get it.

Now he wants to move back to the city. I have my job, it's permanent but the only thing bothering me with my job is that i have to travel 90 kms to get to work. I spend about 500$ on gas per month.. I still have money left over, that is not the issue but the driving does increase the anxiety/stress.

The other option would be to quit my job and go back to school (university). I am already registered but I seem quite confused because I won't be making as much money as I am while I am working. The distance to travel to school will be shorter because I will be able to take public transportation which is less stressful.

I am afraid of leaving a secure job because quitting is not a very good thing either. I don't want to give myself a bad reputation.
Has anyone ever dealt with something similar?
