It has always been difficult for me to admit that I need help and even more difficult to seek it. Dispair inspired me to seek therapy in the first place. I suppose HOPE kept me looking for a therapist that could actually help me. Over time... it is the combination of therapies (meds, talk therapy, ECT, support groups, and education that actually seems to be working to keep me stable and productive.... at peace with myself and my world (most of the time).
