Members,
Social anxiety is an anxiety disorder characterized by overwhelming anxiety and extreme self-consciousness in normal social situations. While most people feel at least a little bit nervous about public speaking or giving presentations, people with Social Anxiety Disorder suffer from an intense fear of being judged or watched by others. People with Social Anxiety Disorder are always worried about being judged, humiliated or embarrassed when they are with other people.
Does this sound familiar to you? Is public speaking one of your biggest phobias?
