Helping Others

Hello Vincenza,

I think the best way to help others who are dealing with depression is to talk about our own experiences. In this way depressed people do not think they are alone and could also learn from the experience of other people.

Hi Members,

Sometimes it is hard to know how to support fellow members or those close to us experiencing depression.
Are you:
  • Having trouble knowing the right thing to say?
  • Worried that you might offend another member?
  • Wanting to show members how much you care but are unsure how?
  • Comfortable supporting members but would like some more skills you can add to your repertoire?
Share your experience of supporting others whether on this site or in your home or community.
For more information, read through the section titled "Members Helping Members" in the Community section of the website.
