Rose, obnoxious- nope, have never thought that.  Speaks her mind, knows about many different things, has many life experiences to share- yep!  Admiral qualities!

rose.

I love the voice you present to us.  You bring warmth and experience to all the advise and thoughts you express.  You often come straight to the point so I have to really think about what you have written!! A good exercise for this brain that is slowly shrinking!

I hope you continue to post for quite some time to come!!

it's just i know you shouldn't give unsolicited advice - but here i think we give/take - i like the honesty, maybe i'm too honest. glad you don't find me obnoxious, some people do - thanks!

stardust -  - advice giver? i know i can be obnoxious - it's the codependent in me! reincarnation makes sense, doesn't it? what can you learn with one go around? expecially if it's cut short.....

Hey Rose 306, contrary to what you feel, I don't think you drug pushee, advice giver perhaps. I was totally tracked onto 'no drugs bad bad bad for you'. Now with what I have read from your posts and some others I feel slightly more ok about thinking it may not be the worst option on the planet. Not sure of taking anything that is going to mess up my sex life. (lifes pleasures are few and far between right now).
EsotericStudies - umbrella that covers subjects like reincarnation, past lives, alternative religious beliefs, psychic abilities etc.

Rose, I'm glad to hear that you made it through menopause without HRT.  I utilize the same tools too sometimes when I still get the hot flashes and the fan blows every night.  I appreciate your not taking my comments harshly as I know they could have been interpreted that way.  It is only a cyst and it will be okay (Read Norman Vincent Peale again - lol).  I love the comment about 3 lbs of chemicals and the water too.  Wish I could get my chemicals in the right places, doing the right things!  But I bet you all do as well!  We have hope!

stardust, sometimes i feel like a drug "pusher" around here, but i'm 50 years old and i have learned a few things. i know that they really really help me. i wish my parents would have taken me to see someone when the guidance counselor in my high school said something is up with you, girl. they didn't and my life just kinda took it's course. but now i feel medicated not only for my protection but for yours - lol! just for fyi, my psychiatrist put me on lexapro supposedly because it has the least side effects - in case you don't know about those - the worst one is that at first your sex life is shot - no end result if you get my drift. but that goes away or comes back (no pun intented). also for anxiety i take klonopin 3x a day - just keeps me from taking on too much or spinning out of control. so far so good, no side effects at all. maybe i am one of the lucky ones, in this regard. good luck to you stardust, i really believe meds can help. btw, what the heck is "esoteric studies"?
