Feeling trapped

15 years ago 0 538 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Sheba,

I am glad to hear you managed to get some stuff done. Take some time for yourself before you get to the other stuff. You deserve it!

As for your boyfriend, I am sorry to hear that is still tough... Hang in there.

Please keep us posted!

Hi Sheba,

I know you are exhausted with your tasks.  Stress in a relationship does not make that any easier.  Maybe you should take a time out before completing your other task if you can.  Then go back to it.  Sometimes the fact that we HAVE to do something makes it that much harder to do.

I know you care about your boyfriend, I hope your problems work out.

One of the tasks is almost done. The other... ehm... I just can't write it down because I'm bored of this.... I've been working on it for to long so bleah...
But I try to write it down... I have to. As gor my boyfriend he is depressed too and sometime a little to egocentric for me. Even if he is a great person.

Hiya Sheba,

I wish I had super great advice for you. I guess I would suggest a little you time. Do something fun! Then break down your tasks in very little one and just taking one little step at a time. Easy for me to say lol but I am not very good at doing this...

As for your boyfriend, I am sorry to hear things are rough. I do know how that feels and how much energy that takes. Hang in there and mostly be kind to yourself!

Sheba,

Take some time out for yourself. How about a break, perhaps a walk to focus your attention elsewhere.  Members, have any ideas or words of encouragement for Sheba?  Hang in there.

The problem is that I feel simply flat... without energy. I'm not worried at all. It is really strange. As if I have more important things than this. Things like doing nothing or getting out!

Sheba, I am sorry to hear you are feeling overwhelmed with the tasks that you have set to accomplish.  I know that it is easier said than done as I don't do it effectively myself.  But sometimes we just need a "kickstart".  I don't want to sound patronizing but like kickstarting a motorcycle to get it running.  Also breaking the tasks down and not thinking about all of them all at once.  Just one task with one easy step.

As I said Sheba, it's easy for me to say this very very difficult for me to do this.  Hope you and your boyfriend get things straightened out, that can definitely be a distraction to your focus and concentration and breaking things down.  Let us know how you progress!

I have lots of things to do... I know that I have the capacity of doing all this but no way I can start....  I feel trapped in my own not working mood... I also had some problems with myboyfriend. I simply can't concentrate and I need to....
