Take a few minutes to think about how
increased shyness or social anxiety disorder may be affecting your
relationships. If you need help getting a clearer picture, follow the steps
below:
Take out a sheet a paper and write down who is in your life
right now in one column. In the other column, write down all the people
who are no longer in your life since your depression, anxiety or shyness
worsened.
On another sheet, take the individuals in both columns and
express how you believe your depression, anxiety or shyness affected those
relationships.
On another sheet, write down how depression, anxiety or shyness
has affected your life in general.
On the last sheet, write down which relationships you’d like to
focus on in which you’d like to reduce your sensitivity or shyness.
