Were you diagnosed with Major Depression?

20 years ago 0 274 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
I have read many postings from various people, and they go into a discussion of why they became depressed, and other illnesses or problems they have had such as bi-polar, borderline, rape, child abuse etc. I was just curious as to how many people have been diagnosed with Major Depression exclusively, and perhaps with a family history of this disease only, who have not experienced childhood traumas, rapes, or bi-polar symptoms. Has anyone out there only experienced the Major Depression without the other horrible experiences, or has everyone also experienced other problems?
