typing out prayers
attempting ease my stress, i type out prayers on my computer...both random thoughts and also some more organized musings...just something i'm experimenting with to see how it affects me.

hi
perhaps we can should experiment with our behaviour...pray out loud in your car, even if you don't have a concrete concept of God...or sing a cheerful song....talk to a stranger...give a panhandler a few coins and a coversation. run as far and as fast as you can. dance to loud music with a beat in your living room. give an associate a nice, sincere compliment. write a letter to your mother and tell her how much she means to you. read it a day later and mail it if you like what you wrote.
do something different. do something that will affect you emotionally.
canvas door to door for a charity or political party
attend a new church, symphony concert, a ballet, an opera, a country show. a dance school receital. play bingo
eat something completely different like canned indian food...take a bus to where-ever it goes and back. talk to a few of the people if you feel like it.
experiment...press a few strange bottons..you might discover something about yourself...you may find emotional reactions that surprise you.
can anyone else run with this sort of thing? any specific concrete ideas that i might try.
thanks for comtemplating my thoughts...if you think these ideas are stupid, let me know also
