dear down & out, Are you female? The chewing of the cheek could be a different nerosis ie not depression related. Mandy

JChandler, You need to discuss with your doctor: your dosage and the differences between wellbutrin SR and XL...my body prefers the SR generic. I had ringing in my ears, but it went away after the first month. I'm on 300mg a day, and my nurse says that's the limit. You also need to read the package insert to the wellbutrin; it's very scientific and has all the info you could possibly need. I believe, you need to double check, this insert says that siezures are a possible side effect. Have you been on the wellbutrin only for six to eight weeks yet? Mandy

HELLO, i'am sorry to hear about your side effects that doesnt make me to easy feeling about my dosage increase.. i asked my doc if i could have a smaller dose to take in the evening like 100mg , but he told me they don't have a 100mg pill? so i'am taking 150mg at night so that puts me at 450mg of wb a day. the only things i notice are my hands wont stop shaking and i get pretty dizzy? not sure if thats b/c of the meds though? i just added the 150 3 days ago though, but i guess i'll wait and see? oh also how could i forget..i cannot stop chewwing on the insides of my cheeks!! its getting really painful? i know weird..

JChandlr the time I mentioned of above..it was my entire body. I did have this one day episode of odd left sided pain a while back..but I can't remember if I was taking WB then or not. I'm pretty sure I was though...

question?, question?, can i get some answers? i started taking 300mg of wellbutrin. i started taking 100mg/morning, 100mg/evening then week later went to 200mg/morning, 100mg/evening, but i found that when i took my moring dose which was around 7:30-8:00am by the time i got off work i was a basket case? i'd be fine all day at work and when i'd get off from work to home i'am either on the verge of tears or a road raging idiot struck with total anger? but now starting today i'am suppose to take one 300mg pill in the morning or so? when is the best time to take the medicine for it to last all day or not put me in that emotional state? help!

I am thinking 400mg a day is just too much. I am meeting with my doctor soon to check it out. I haven't run into many people who take that dosage, maybe that is the reason for a longer adjusting period?

green m&m: Do you remember if your muscle pain/weakness was ever only on a specific side of your body?

Definatly talk to your doctor.. Most of my side effects went away after a while.. I had a full body muscle soreness (like post workout) for a week after I had my dosage increased. I noticed my heart racing when I was trying to rest during the first week,.. that's gone too.. My ears ring as well.. but I've had that my entire life, after starting wb, it became louder. This doesn't bug me too much.. I've learn to ignore it. Try to not pay attention to it, or always surround yourself with enough background/white noise to drown out the tinnitus.
