Panic and anxiety

9 years ago 0 11213 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi Cara423,

Anxiety can cause blood pressure to rise.

Not being scared of physical symptoms is a big part of taking control of anxiety. Accepting the anxiety for what it is will help to lesson the anxiety. Fearing the physical symptoms contributes to the negative spiral of anxiety. If you can stop one part of the spiral then you will see an improvement.

Try being mindful next time you feel anxious. Allow yourself to feel the anxiety, like an experimenter just pay attention to the physical symptoms in your body without judgement and see what happens. Let us know how it goes.
