Watching your garden grow

I'm watching too much tv, myself, since I track it. I wanted to go out, but felt disoriented, and had a stomach ache. My microwave stopped working yesterday, and I can't find the receipt, but it's in the warranty, through a credit card. Since I registered online, the credit card company could honour the online registration, if the manufacturer gives me something in writing. It cost so little, I almost don't want it, but it makes cooking easier. What I like about not having it, is the extra counter space, since it's large.

I need the tractor to pull the waterline out of the pond so I can move it to deeper water. It is out of fuel and I don't feel like going to town so that can wait. Going to let the garden go. Staying up too late and tired all day now. I have to stop doing that. I spend two hours watching movies but far more time on the internet. Too tired and sore to do much else right now. Trying to stick to Tylenol and off the morphine.

I'm inspired by your drive, Davit. Somehow, I just don't seem to want to push myself. But I do, and I don't nap. I count the amount of tv hours I watch, and it's increased, as I drop out or skip social events, which pick me up. I feel enegized by being around people.

Lost the prime to my pond pump. Now that might be a chore to get going again. Might not bother. Might write off the garden. Just too tired to bother. Other things to do right now.

I'm rather proud of the work I put in to become panic free. The truth about anxiety. How could I be disabled and not have anxiety. It is just not possible. But I have a very good tolerance for my disability. And I have good control of my anxiety. So on days like today where my medication is messed up and I look good enough to send home I just suck it up and accept I'll have to fix it by starting with a new Doctor. So If I can get to my car tomorrow I'm going home.

Today I made two major discoveries about chronic infections. And they fit. Just not what my Doc believes. Now to find a doc who will read it. If this theory is right I could get rid of my chronic infection in a month. Hell if it  takes a year, that is better than chronic.

Red, I know the feeling, I had far less anxiety when I could still put in a hard day. Still do if I have a good day and go to bed tired but happy.

Thanks again Davit. Disabilities do compound anxiety. When I got home from some exposure work this morning I went out into the yard to relax and work off some of my tension that was left from the exposure and residual adrenalin . I did a little weeding in 90 degree heat and feel better now. If I was not disabled I would have stayed out and worked in the yard for the rest of the day like I used to. I have had to learn other ways to unwind because of the physical disabilities that I now have. I sure do miss the good old days and the hard physical work though....Red..

Red

I would never consider that a small thing. Disability compounds anxiety. It more than doubles it. Even just the common cold can make recovery hard.

This morning I am going to go for another walk, come home and have breakfast and then see if I can focus on finishing a table top quilt that I started making earlier this month as a positive distraction....This may sound like a small feat for some but not for those of us that deal with anxiety on daily basis it really is not..

I have a doctors appointment coming up next week to follow up on the reconstructive plastic surgery that I had on my face to repair it after having a basal cell skin cancer removed. Not sure if I will be having more surgery yet, plus I will being starting my 30 days of being on call for jury duty service on August 2. Anyway I have been feeling very anxious about all this and the what if's and not knowing what I am going to be doing for sure so I have been trying to engage myself in distractive type activities for the last month or so. I have managed to clean the house, mowed and weeded the yards yesterday, got my hair cut and styled this week and have gone outside for 3 walks on 3 consecutive mornings this week and have even gone grocery shopping. The later being the toughest being that I find it hard to tolerate crowds of people when I am worried and anxious. So today I am going to get myself busy and find a distracting activity to keep the monsters at bay..that is the anxiety and all that goes with it..

I spent the last 2 weeks cleaning up and removing some failing plants from my beds due to the drought. Then went on to plant a new citrus tree that is drought tolerant in my fruit tree bed. It's called a Mandarin Page. I am looking forward to caring for it and watching it grow into a mature citrus tree.
