Panic attack while asleep

Muddymutt, So glad you are doing better while on the program. You have already won half the battle by getting up at night to relieve the panic attack. How about before bed? Have you tried relaxation techniques? What about breathing techniques? For tonight, prepare by reducing your anxiety level as much as you can. A hot bath, some soothing music, a warm beverage can help. This ensures that you are totally relaxed before bed. Hope this helps! Josie

Anxiety or Panic attacks?

Hi Coco, I found some interesting information on google that may be of interesting reading to you; "There may be a genetic predisposition to anxiety disorders; some sufferers report that a family member has or had a panic disorder or some other emotional disorder such as depression. Studies with twins have confirmed the possibility of 'genetic inheritance' of the disorder." You can read more at this information site @http://www.apa.org/pubinfo/panic.html Hope this makes for informational reading. Josie

New here NEED a FRIEND Please

Rhondajo, First of all, you are an amazing woman. I can barely deal with 2 children, let alone six. How do you do it? Please feel free to roam the site at your own pace. If you look to the left of the screen under "TOOLS" you will find many supportive tests. These tests are not diagnostic tools and are not a replacement or substitute for a physician's advice. The purpose of these tests is to prepare you with information that you can present to your physician. When you're finished the test, you can either print your Final Report or email it directly to your doctor. We also have developed a Panic Program. This program is 12-weeks and involves the tools mentioned above. Each session is based on the previous session, so we strongly advise that you work slowly through the program and not jump ahead. If you have any question or concerns with our €œTOOLS€, you can contact us support@paniccenter.net. We are the Support Specialist for The Panic Center and are open to any questions or concerns you may have. We also have a great online support group, that has lots of knowledge to share. Please feel free to post often with feelings, questions, concerns comments, and most of all support. Looking forward to hearing from you soon! Josie
