Dreams

Isn't it great when that heavy chest feeling starts to go away????
Amazing that it only takes a couple of days of not smoking to feel better!

Dreams, smells and snacking.... you are right on target! Be glad you are dreaming
Spielberg movies and not Coen Bros. Movies! LOL!

The smells are distracting to me too as I also have a sensitive sniffer. I remember one other quit where I asked the doctor
for a pill to dull my sense of smell (I really did). It was all too much for me to take in at once. Luckily, now I'm older, I think my smell has just naturally dulled to what most people consider normal.  Funny that we didn't know about our own smoke stink! yuck!

You are doing great.... keep up the good work!!! More than 1/2 way through Hell Week!!!!
It will get a little better every day!

Hi Pippy!
You will do great!!! Keep your POSITIVE ATTITUDE - it will take you far!!!

Sounds like you are prepared with your snacks. I like mints too.
Daily Llama always suggests lots of ice water!!

You may feel stress with your new client,  if so, remember to breath deeply.
Inhale/exhale slowly.... it sounds silly but it really works!
Plus you always have this trick is handy wherever you are!

Good luck today!!!
Let us all know how it went!

Tomorrow is the day!

Hello Amanda!
Welcome to the SSC!

Believe me, I can relate to the dental issues. I've had sooooo much dental work and the whole time the dentist was telling me to quit. I sure tried but slipped every time.
Trust me, smoking will do a number on your mouth.... gums, tartar buildup, disease and most of all... bone loss which equals tooth loss. It's the nicotine that lessens the circulation to the teeth so they get weak. Plus, smoking leaves a thin film of sticky gunk on your teeth that traps bacteria and causes decay. YUCK!  If you are young, you can save yourself a whole lot of agony and money by quitting now but it's never too late!

Now I have quit and the dental work is much easier, the gums are better and you will not be self conscious when you visit the dentist. I have my teeth cleaned every three months and the stains are a lot less! Wish I had quit sooner!

Hope your first day is going well!
Keep us posted!
