Hi everybody!
Hope you had a nice smoke-free day.
Whenener it gets harder for me to ignore my junkie thoughts, i like to go on the internet and search for some good ad commercials or videos about quitting smoking. I find that they help me with the quit.
Lately, i'm having trouble finding some. Does anybody know any good ads or videos sites that i could visite ?
Thanks

If it was'nt for you guys i would feel very alone in my quit. I don't have anybody around me that really knows what i'm going threw.
At first (during my hell and heck week) my familly was very supportive. They would ask me how i was doing, they would help me threw my cravings and say how proud they were of me.
But since those first two weeks i don't hear anything about it anymore. It's like if they think that the worst of the quit has past and i just need to move on.
Let's just say that i am my self-motivator. I'm good at that...I wake up very morning being very impress with myself and promising myself that this will be another smoke-free day.
But then i remember that i have you guys. Even if i don't know you personnaly, i know we have something in common and we are all going threw it together.
But best of all i know you will always have my back....so for that....
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Hi Aloha,
Here is what i mostly like about being smoke-free...
I like the freedom.
But most of all i LOVE how i feel about myself. I am SOOOOO happy that i'm finally in control of my life and the fact that i'm not giving power to those nicotine sticks anymore.

Hi Boldinaz,
I felt the exact same way. I had this tightness feeling in my chest at it was very bodersome. I was very worried with my condition...i started to think i was having a heart attack. I even remember saying that i felt better when i was smoking :). I'm looking at your stats and i can say that it's was around the same time as you that i felt that tightness.
I had it for a few days...then it left...then it came back again...
I did'nt go see a dorctor but i talked to a nurse and she said that it could be some thorax spasmes. Muscles around your thorax tightning when your going threw stressful times ( maybe the anxiety of quitting smoking).
So i just tried to relax more... Take good deep breath.
I don't have that feeling of thightness anymore. If i remember right, that feeling stopped for about 2 weeks now (i'm on my 6 week now.)
I don't think it's something to worry about...but if you want to be sure you can always go visite your doctor.
