SMOKING

Hiya cuddles, I'm so proud of you! :) You're doing an awesome bang up job staying quit!!! WOOHOOOOOOO!!! My Mom used to accuse me of everything to, lol, and that's so sad b/c I was so good and inocent as a teenager. She never learned how to trust, therefore she never taught me how to trust either. I'm still working on trust issues, lol. The 1st step is learning to trust myself :) Even with all my time in sobriety and smoke-free I have a hard time trusting myself :( UGH! Hang in there, we all have each others back in here :) Keep up the good work cuddles :) No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on... Cherie

Life Still Happens

I don't know about ya'll but for me it's usually more all or nothing. True, I've found some balance in some things in life but over-all I'm either doing really good or not so good and for the last 20-25 days I'm not doing so good on my diet/weight goals. It's 3am right now and I'm stuffed from tacos and chinese food! A part of me wants to go to 7-11 and get a pack of newports. I'm actually feeling short of breath too but don't know why. Probably just dehydrated from not drinking water & drinking lots of coffee & pepsi. How frustrating life can be and is...one day celebrating a yr smoke-free and losing 15 lbs and then a couple weeks later gaining back 1/2 that weight (at least) and wanting to smoke! Sheese! And what's really upsetting is that even though things will get better...as they always do...they will get bad again too...as they always do... Sighhhhhhhhhh :( And my fibromyalgia is really bothering me too :( I know a stupid cig won't help matters & what really helps to keep me from smoking,,,even just one (as if that were possible) is that I don't want to have to restart my quit meter, lol. So I guess I'll take my fat butt to bed! And tomorrow start drinking alot of water. No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on... The Rant of An Old Quitter

Gr8 post Katy! Reminds me of myself :) I have to be careful when it comes to speaking my mind. Especially because communication like these posts/e-mail/chats, can be taken wrong so often. With me,,,even face to face people who don't know me well enough will take me wrong just b/c I'm so outspoken and have a strange sense of humor. I'm glad u added this thread :) No matter what don't lite up... Keep on keepin on... Cherie
