Thank you Davit. I appreciate the advice. You definitely nailed it when you said things get turned around to make me look bad. I also agree about loving someone and not liking them. I used to tell him that a lot...that I did not like him but I did love him! Tomorrow I am hoping to have my closure and be able to move on with my life. Thank you for your support!
I am sorry I didn't give an update yesterday after court. I was a total wreck! After battling it out in the courtroom, the judge adjourned it for another 2 weeks. My ex-fiance and his mother (who caused most of our problems) both lied to the judge. I have no idea how this will go now and they have 2 more weeks to gather more witnesses to lie for them. I just don't know what to do anymore. This totally sucks...all I want is my stuff back or him to pay for them if he keeps them. It is affecting my credit and I showed paperwork as proof of ownership of the items. Any suggestions or advice that might help?
I also have that feeling right out of bed and it usually lingers all day long. My dr says to take my Xanax when I won't be driving and so pretty much I can only take it at bedtime, or else I am groggy all day and sleep. I also had a death in the family that triggered mine lately, and also fighting my ex in court to get my stuff back! I go back to see my Dr on Thursday so hopefully she can get me the help that I need. I hope you get some answers that can help you start to feel better!
Thank you for your kind words. I cannot have a lawyer because it is small claims court. I was very worried seeing him in court and not once did I make eye contact with him. I knew that if I did I would lose my composure. It was very hard because I still love him very much, although he is with someone else. I just don't understand how he can do that. We were supposed to get married next July and less than a month after I move out he moves someone new in. I want the control back in my life and he still has it somehow. I tried last night not taking Xanax and I was a mess. Today hasn't been so good either. Feeling aches and pains and heaviness on my chest. I guess I am not ready to stop the Xanax!
Thank you Ashley! Yes he still does try to have the control over me and I cannot wait til court is over because he will have absolutely no control at all! I have bowling league tonight so I am going to try to get him and court out of my head! I also will be taking a Xanax tonight because I was a total mess today and last night not taking one. I see the dr tomorrow morning and I am excited to go over my options! I will be back on later to read other posts.
I forgot to ask something...does anyone get freezing cold when they have anxiety or panic attacks? I seem to have that really bad! Just thought I would see if it was common!
I just went to my dr yesterday morning and I cannot believe I forgot to ask her about the freezing a lot! Being on Xanax tends to make me not very focused for some reason. She wants me to try taking Buspar. Have you heard anything good or bad about the medication? I just got it filled but haven't taken it yet...I think my anxiety is making me stall! lol Our Bowling team took all 4 wins...so we are heading from second to last place on up. My best friend bowls with me and she was in a bad car accident several years ago and experiences the anxiety much more severe than I do. It is nice to have someone that close that understands, yet at the same time I wish I could take it all away from her! Her and I both used to be the most friendly, upbeat outgoing girls and we are fighting so hard to get that back!

I catch myself upping the heat all the time when I am freezing then it must ease up because I start sweating from being layered and hot! I am also interested in information about the "light"! I will definitely try your advice! Thank you.

I am sorry I don't know your name to address you more personally! It makes me feel better that it is a normal symptom to have so I don't think it is something specific wrong with me...besides anxiety! I also have laughed after reading some of the stuff I wrote...it was like who was that talking!?! That workbook you talked about sounds very helpful! Thanks for your advice!

Have any of you ever had Bronchitis??? The feeling you have in your chest from the bronchitis ironically is exactly how my chest feels when I start to panic attacks! I was being treated for Bronchitis like every other week - and the dr was giving me antibiotics and finally I was like you know - I don't have the other symptoms like cough with this so maybe it is not Bronchitis. I started the Xanax and later that day that feeling in my chest was gone!!!
