That happened to me, I was fine, I got on the bus went out, and I was just about to get off and I got a panic attack, I pretty much sat with my husband on the phone for 20 mins and then got the bus home.
It was awful, it came out of nowhere, but I was also talking with the bus driver about how I just quit my old job, and I think I was getting worked up, and may have triggered it.
I came off paxil, it was hard, took me forever. I kept getting a buzzing sensation in my head, it was wierd, so I gradually cut the dose down. My new doctor put me on Effexor RX, I start tomorrow, first time i'm going on it, as I am Celexa, but its not really making me feel any better, I called the docs office, and of course I can never speak to her directly, I always get the nurse, and I said there are so many side effects and i'm worried about taking them, well she says they have to list them all in case. So tomorrow will see when I take the first one!
HI Cornish-dee, I finally picked my new meds up yesterday, I kept getting a call from the pharmacy ( the automated thing) and I wouldnt go pick them up. I was supposed to start them over a week ago. Its funny how i'm not alone with leaving them, glad you could relate.
Hi again, about 2 months ago, I had to take a week off work with anxiety problems, I couldnt get in the shower, I was dizzy, and I was dizzy in the bath, so I know this sounds crazy, I never even told my husband this, but I put a chair in the bath(a plastic garden chair) (got to be careful as its slippery)( made a heck of a mess with water everywhere hehe!!) and I sat in the shower just to wet my hair and soap a bit, I was shaking but the sitting helped. I felt so much better, I did that for a few days, then I wanted a good bubble bath, so I did that but tried to relax, I felt so tight from nerves. Then after I did the bubble bath thing for a few days, I just got in the shower, it took a few days but its ok now. Its so great to have everyone here to vent to, its a good release. Now when i'm in the shower, I sing loudly, and try to not get anxious, and just enjoy the water and try to relax.
HI, my sister dragged me to her chinese doctor in Toronto, when I was visiting. I was so anxous I was dizzy, I kept feeling that I was going to fall off the bed, I made her hold my hand while the doc was giving me acupressure. Afterwards I felt completely fine, it was amazing, I was tired, but I got up and walked and felt great. I have to find someone that does that around here in Eagan, where I live now.
Hi everyone,
I finally took my first new med today, my sister mentioned that all medication has side effects even advil and tylenol, which I dont care to take if I have a headache. I decided that i'll give it a try, see how things go. I wrote in my anxiety journal the amount i'm taking and the day I started, so I can keep track of things. Have a great day everyone.
I had to take my new ones, the day after i took celexa for 3 months, the doctor told me to..I was nervous about that too of course..hehe.
