Wow Deb, Be Strong!!!!! Open the window and let all that poison out!!!! Chew your gum, sing loudly. Put perfume on your wrists and smell it often. Enjoy your trip!!!!
Good thing I'm not married to a smoker, he wouldn't be smoking while I'm in the car if he wanted to stay alive :)
That sounds like a grueling trip. Would your husband handle it well if you asked him to smoke at rest stops etc. instead of in the car? I hate to see you suffering because of the triggers when many of them could be prevented with just a bit of consideration on his part.
Here is a mantra, maybe it will resonate for you: "I am free now to detach myself from what I used to be."
You are no longer a smoker, no matter what the provocation. You are Free!!!
Still taking it one day at a time. Some days seem easier other days more difficult. But my Resolve is Strong!!!
Some really good news to report I started my quit at 116lbs, went up to 122.6 despite staying on a very regimented 1200-1400 calories with tons of exercise. But the tide has turned...YEAH for the first time the scale has gone down!!!! All that effort is paying off, jumping for Joy!!!!! Less than 6lbs to lose. Determination, Resolve and following a plan pays off every time, just need some patience to see the fruits of ones endeavors
