Hello New Ones :)

 Hello gonna do it, 1 word -> Awesome!

Patch or not you still rock for at least tempting to quit smoking. The only reason I was able to quit cold turkey was due to a chest cold which left me not smoking for 2 whole days. So, what I am saying here is it does not matter how you quit it is just GREAT that you QUIT.....

CONGRATS AND KEEP IT UP<!!!!

Like a Train...

Yes, the cravings hit me full force yesterday when projects started to fall apart and I actually had a cig. hanging out of my mouth, and a lighter in the other hand.

Although, I stopped and used the 5 minute rules (found here) and this gave me enough time to think STOP! "What are you doing?" Throwing away 2 weeks of hard work for one incident...

I dont think so....

Then I put the cig. back in the pack and placed it back inside where I have 4 other packs awaiting my return. Now, you are probably wondering why would you have 4 new packs inside with an opened pack ? right..

Well it is simple I bought the 4 packs right before I got sick and then could not throw them away since they are so high in cost. Not to mention eveytime before I would throw them away and sya I am done. The cig would win and I would be out the cost of the pack i threw away. I also think that keeping them around is a temptation and if I cannot overcome that small obstacle then I should go back to smoking and never stop again...

...May god bless us all each and everyday andgrant us the strength to overcome this addiction....

Thanks for reading this and always being there when needed (everyone)

Like a Train...

Hello Family,

 It is so good to return back to everyone full of support and cheerful to see another quitter in the group. I must say I appreciate all of the help. I am still smoke free to this day and I have given away all of my cig's knowing I am over the OH GOD GIVE ME A CIG. (or FAG) but with all the criticism now days I will call it a cig.. laughing...

Thanks for the support, I am just plugging along trying to bring all of my family with me to the non smoking side of life. My mom and brother have been wanting to quit for some time now and I think I gave them the confidence to stop and never look back..

will keep you all posted...

Sincerely  =X=

SOMEONE HIT ME!!!

I mean it.....

Please someone hit me and knock me the Fudge Out before I grab a smoke and say the }{ell with a healthy lifestyle.

In the Last Couple of Minutes Pure Hell Breaks Loose......

Just got back in from grocery shopping and already feeling drained by the swing shift I have been on lately. I opened the door up all happy to eat some Ice Cream I picked up and BOOM there goes the big jar of pickles rolling out of my truck and smashed right there at my feet.

{{{BREATHING}}}

So then I figured what the hell they are already ruined I better get the ice cream inside before it melts and while I was doing this in a Temper Tantrum I popped the bag of chips and they go all over the floor...OK...At this point I am ripping my arm pit hairs out like a rapped ape and I NEED A SMOKE....!!!!

{{{BREATHING}}}

PLEASE GIVE ME SOMETHING TO SMOKE...

I DO NOT CARE WHAT IT IS/././.ANYTHING WILL DO RIGHT NOW.....

///////WHY AFTER NEARLY 6 MONTHS I WANT A STUPID CIGARETTE????\\\\\\

Maybe it is God's way of telling me to smoke or have my brain explode out of my ear from holding my breath and biting my tongue.....

again for me too

I am so sorry to hear this as today has not been a good day for me either. Now, I find myself coming back here for help and guidence before I relapse and start smoking. (((fighting the thoughts))))

Although, after posting my new topic "Someone Hit Me" I find myself wandering around reading and looking over how everyone has been so far. I understand what you are going through on a level of I cannot stop thinking that they will make everything alright again.

Like mommy hold me and make it all better---stupid cigarettes'---> I know they won't but this is how I feel....

I am glad I came here and seen exactly how I would of felt if I would have given in to the temptation and picked up a cigarette again. .....

It saddens me to know you had to endure this }{ellish nightmare to help all of us; therefore, thanks for posting this comment about your relapse and we are right here with you all the way...

Best of Luck!!!

Sorry for the choppy and sloppy message but still ((Hot)) about the pickle incident a couple of minutes ago...
