HELP!!!

Just keep a positive attitude about everything and take it one step at a time you can do this and there are alot of people here to help.  I just keep telling myself when I get a craving I don't need them they really don't help and they are nasty.  Then imagine stomping out the nicodemon.  Do the my program on this site.  Plus I do the cravings diary everyday.  I read in this forum everyday.  When I'm not on here I try not to think about my addiction I try to find other things to keep me busy.

Go for walks breath in that fresh air which will smell better daily as you don't smoke it's amazing.  Plus the exercise will be good for your baby.  Eat fruits for snacks, carrots, anything like that actually takes the place of the using the hands for the nasty habit.

You can join the rest of us that are in the beginning of quitting.

You have to be strong now as your a mommy now.  You will have a little one that will look up to you.  And look to you to teach new things make them positive things.

Search online for Alan Carr  his illustrated book comes up click on it and a viewer comes up in a new page and you can read the book free.  It's really great.  I plan to buy his book but this really does help.

Symptom or Craving

Yes breather I sort of did that the best I could.  The box is a good idea.

Sparky I'll try to get some of that carpet fresh soon as I can.

I got off the lozenges and boy the craves hit hard last night.  I figured that I was probably just prolonging it by feeding the nicodemon.  So now I just figure with every crave it is starving that little monster.  So he should be getting weaker each time.

HELP!!!

Don't give up.  Remember that smoking does nothing to relieve stress it just adds more.  You don't need it.  Take it one step at a time one crave at a time.  Each time you beat it you get stronger and the demon gets weaker.  Believe me it does get better.  It does get easier.

Talk to your husband as with the new one brewing it's important that you do quit.  He should be supportive and helpful.

My wife quit last March I took it upon myself to not smoke in the house.  During bad weather she said it would be ok if we smoked in the garage or basement but if that bothers you it should be outside.  Don't demand it talk to him tell him how it makes you feel.

Alright! We can do this the hard way or the easy way

Yes Mr Q

I was having a hard time until I learned that same thing since then it has been alot easier and getting easier everyday.  I learned how smoking doesn't help stress it adds stress.  Some will say that a smoke after a meal taste so good.  Ummm 20 in a pack don't they all taste nasty really.  I was craving them because like you said I thought I was missing something until I learned the truth.  I learned this from members here.  And searching for information from people here.  I don't miss smoking anymore and beating the craves has become easier and I can now walk confidently into a truck stop and stand at the counter and look at all those packs and cartons back there and honestly say I'm glad I don't need them anymore.

I have to walk past people by the door and in some they still allow smoking everywhere inside.  I can walk through them and say I bet they wish they could quit.

I got to tell my wife today that I would have my Hell Week award today.  She was excited and couldn't believe it.  I told her she could log into my account and go to my blog and see it.  Made me proud.  I can honestly say bring on heck week. I'm not missing anything so I know I will get through it.

But thanks for posting your wisdom so more can learn how to make it easier.  When you learn it it really is easier.

Threw out smokes, ashtrays and lighter

Thank you Thank you everyone.  The support and knowledge hell week and then some is done.  And with the knowledge it got easier.  Bring on Heck week.  I am a non smoker with alot of help and support and knowledge from you all.  Even those that didn't post here I have read and read alot of old post and learned alot.  And because of what I learned here I have searched other places and learned more.

As soon as everyone learns that your not missing anything by not smoking and disprove all the things the demon makes us think it really becomes easier as I don't think about it that much anymore.  And when I have a crave I just think as soon as I beat it I grow stronger and the demon gets weaker.

Had a very stressful day today didn't give it a second thought just kept telling myself I can handle it I don't need a smoke to make it worse.

Lola hope your back gets better and your right smoking would not make it better.  And I really like comparing the flu and smoking both are bad.

I was having to work with people smoking all day today loading and unloading.  It was really hard and had thoughts about buying some but kept telling myself no no it's not worth it.  I don't want to repeat the 1st week ever again.  Some days you think wow this is better maybe it's over then all of a sudden crave after crave.  But don't get the flu again lol.
