Hey christmass, stopping smoking can be tough especially when you are around other smoker(s), speaking from experience... does a recovering alcoholic hang out at bars ? - i think not !.

There is a lot of discussion here re: quitting & a smoking spouse / partner & there's plenty of advice.

I know you've probably read this a gazillion times but knowledge is the key here... learn about your addiction & watch out for the triggers. Perhaps have a read of the Allen Carr book, it helped me.

Perhaps have a chat with your husband about leaving his ciggies about, i'm shure he will appreciate what you are going through, if not  no biggie.

All the best.

OK Don't be so hard on yourself.
Get back into your quit. Every quit  story is different. Just don't quit on quitting!. You know better now.
Keep your ice water on hand and you will be fine!
Big hugs

Oh Christmas.....Don't be so hard on your self, it happens to the best of us...I too on my test run gave in on day 2 and a half...At least your doing one thing right and that is not quitting on your quit...It is harder when people around you smoke and since it is your hubby it's not like you can avoid him....How much have you prepared yourself for this quit? Preparation is the key....Take your slip as a lesson learned and reapply it to your quit so it want happen again...Having an emergency box, bag,or what ever you wanna call it does come in handy...Fill it with all things your going to use or need to beat those cravings...And when all else fails come here and post and wait for 5 replys by then the craving will be gone...We are all here for you and are rooting for your success...Oh and don't get mad at yourself get mad at the nico-demon and mad at the cigereet's...and also if you gotta eat do it, you can always lose weight later because right now the important thing is to focus on is not smoking...We are here for you and together we can all beat this thing...We can and you can do this...Stay strong and keep saying NOPE...
