A little slip, I regret

Glad you came back Carlos. Get back on the horse and keep on riding - the scenery in the distance is so much easier to see without a grey cloud floating around your head! x T My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 370 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,510 Amount Saved: 2,035.00 Life Gained: Days: 31 Hrs: 12 Mins: 57 Seconds: 34

Carlos, Get rid of the smokes. Use this as a learning experience. Many of us quit a million times before suceeding. Don't quit quitting. It's a slip, Carlos. It's not the end of the world & it doesn't have to be the end of your quit. It's great that you can acknowledge that you didn't enjoy it & that it made you feel crappy. Smoking made you feel crappy for years, you just didn't know it. Take my hand & get back up on the wagon, Carlos. You can do it, you did it for 72 hours. Carlos Frechette, That's the idea! See this as an opportunity to pinpoint what your triggers are and what may be missing from your quit plan. Keep going, we are cheering you on! Danielle, Bilingual Health Educator

Carlos, start back up right where you left off. And watch out for dangerous situations! You can do this! Oh Carlos....I am so glad that you posted that you did not want to go back to smoking...Remember how you felt this morning after smoking. That may keep you clean. Don't beat yourself up, learn and move on. A winner never quits. I slipped last night, on my 4th day, after 72hours. It didn't make me feel good. In fact my throat hurts this morning even if I didn't smoke much. I just put myself in a situation that I could not handle yet. I just wasn't ready. I will think about it and make sure it doesn't happen again in the future. Counter is now reset to 0. I'll take it the right way and say that this is just part of my learning process.
