I love this post, Changing! You're a very funny (comedic) woman and I always feel better when I find myself laughing out loud and the endorphins and the dolphins and the Dauphins are running around in my brain! Tryagain - 60 days is an amazing accomplishment! I hope you feel a sense of pride in the battle you've fought and what you've done. You sound tired, really tired and worn out. The one good thing to remember is that tomorrow is a new day. A chance to feel better - who knows - it might just happen! How do you know tomorrow isn't going to be another one of those phenomenal days? You don't need a vacation from the quit - you need a vacation from the nagging thoughts of smoking. Will smoking help that? No, it will make them come more often. Your quit is leading you to that "vacation" place where you no longer think about smoking. You are almost 60 days on your way there - you don't want to go back to the starting line! Keep leading the way for me --- I'm following in your footsteps! I'm glad I read this because honestly, I'm tired of the quit. I'm 60 days into this as of tomorrow. I'm tired of just flashes of not wanting to smoke and the struggle and exhaustion of fighting the cravings Even though I have had some phenomenal days, really phenomenal that have made me very very happy. I just don't think I can handle this anymore, I'm old, I'm tired, I'm done in. I have not had a cigarette. I just can't stop thinking about it. I need a vacation from the quit.
