    Cigarettes Not Smoked

Cal, I thought this too to be the ultimate in satisfaction from quitting smoking. Even while I played soccer in HS I smoked and had to run laps and had a hard time. Now I can run 3 miles, which is not much at all, but I push myself further week by week and it is really a huge pat on the back for someone who quit smoking. There are a couple of others here who know this great feeling. It is such a blessing that we can make such changes even as we get older simply by relieving our body from smoking. Good for you! Every since I was a teenager I have dreamed of running/jogging. I have tried a few times and have thrown the towel in. Well this evening, I dusted off our treadmill and I jogged for most of the 30 minutes!!! I didn't throw up or start the whole huffing and puffing. I am on a natural high right now!!! My lungs are healing!!! Hip hip hooray!!!
