Oh Noooo! Chocolate!

OOOOhhhhh, chocolate is my downfall. You are right, it tastes so much better as a non-smoker, because you can really TASTE it. I can't get enough of it and am rarely without it. I have 'kisses' in all the flavors (cherry, caramel, peanut butter, dark, light, striped, mint) and I feel sorry for anyone who can't find all of these wonderful flavors! (some are hard to find) They do the trick when I don't have the really good stuff around, and I have the extra pounds to prove it! There are worse things....like smoking! Lainey, you are my new hero! It is high in antioxidants too. The darker the chocolate, the better. (I am just trying to keep my sense of humor thru this.) Hey Scaredy, I actaully read somewhere that chocolate is a good aid to quitting smoking! How great is that! I guess now the challenge is how much is too much??? :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 50 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,260 Amount Saved: $527.5 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 2 Mins: 11 Seconds: 26

I am on day 6. I am sick of straws, seeds, grapes, suckers and toothpicks. I bought a bag of dark chocolate chunks this morning.... and oh my god! I don't remember chocolate ever tasting quite so heavenly. Do they have a support group for chocolate? I gave up red meat 30 years ago with no problem. I gave up liquor years ago with no problem. I'm giving up cigarettes now and (most of the time) it's not really too awfully horrible (with Chantix). How am I ever going to put down that chocolate???? :8o: My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/19/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 5 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 271 Amount Saved: $50 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 15 Mins: 11 Seconds: 13
