Hello All,
As I read through this form I can remember through my many quits having to fight the cravings. This time I been taking Chantix and it has been a great drug to help me with the physical craving. I have been using a rubiks cube to get through the mental part and all had work out well until Wed of this week. You see when I start this quit I sat down an ask God to truly help me with this quit. I told the Lord that I was truly tried of smoking and that I truly never wanted to go back to smoking. Well my friends the Lord kept his word to me and he has help me put smoking behind me mentally and physically. You see Wed. I had a dental appointment for a root canel. This is one of reasons I was trying to quit because it was affecting my teeth so bad. Anyway the Lord help me out big time because the tooth that needed a root canal was too bad and the doctor had to pull it. Hence since Wed of this week I have not taken any chantix, or any other nrt nor have I had any craving mentally or physically for cig. The Lord does have a sense of humor but pulling that tooth sure did kill all that was left in me about my cig habit. I thank the Lord for helping me and now after 10 days I feel like I never smoke in my life before.
I must admit that getting a tooth pull is a hard way to quit smoking but I have to admit it sure has work.
I guess my lessons/ advice to others is when you ask the Lord for help in quitting smoking be specific because he may help you in ways you really may not want to be be.
Take care, God bless all, and stay strong! all things are possible through God.
