Hot SiO2,

Absolutely, positive attitude is such a big part of maintaining a quit! It's one of the most important things that can keep you going when things become challenging!

Great post, thank you!

P M A ! ! !   Positive  Mental  Attitude!  (Oh, and follow the 6-P's. Had to get that in here, too!)

Once you've gone through the Program and made your plan, maintaining a Positive Mental Attitude minute to minute, hour to hour will make the quitting process sooo much easier!  The nico-demon feeds off your negativity... lurking, waiting for that moment of weakness when you start to think to yourself that you can't take it one more minute!!!  If you keep that PMA going you can self talk yourself right through that crave and give that demon one more kick in the ash!

PMA is all about gaining your freedom!!!  I CAN do this!!!  I AM a non-smoker!!!  I CAN win one more battle against ol' nic!!!  PMA WILL make you the winner!  It will also make you a more pleasant person to be around!!!

I do hope you will take the time to share with all of our fellow quit buddies!

            Have a great smoke-free weekend!!!

Members,

If you could give your fellow support group one piece of positive advice…what would it be?

Once we have all shared our advice, print the thread and keep it somewhere you can always see it!

So what's your one piece?
