This is so true, and after a while there are more and more benefits to be had.
 
I did not go Cold Turkey...instead I used every aid possible in my quit, and though it took a bit longer to see some of the benefits, I still saw them.
 
"Every day you spend without a cigarette is a day that your body can spend healing itself. "    Oh! so true!

This is just a reminder of the medical "pros" to quitting smoking. I've read this list (see link below) several times during my quit process and I'm still amazed at the body's capacity to heal itself so quickly. There are literally benefits in just the first few days and weeks. Remember, that every day you spend without a cigarette is a day that your body can spend healing itself.
