I sure hope you rethink about going off the patches. Your body is getting rid of many more chemicals beside nicotine. If you are serious about this phase of your quit make sure you are prepared. There is a book out there by Allen Carr. Give yourself sometime and read it and then maybe go off the patches. But do not feel like you are cheating, you only will cheat yourself if you jump ahead to soon. I know, I did and I have many starts behind me, not recommended.
I am in agreement with the straws, had them everywhere. Car, work, purse, coat pocket, by the computer and by the TV.
