Tryagain youve been through a very wonderful job until now. You have not smoked 3,630 cigs in 121 days, went through lots of hard moments and still are smoke free. I really appreciate your courage and self decipline. Bobbi and Kita you, too, are doing an awesome job and for sure alongside your craves you are also so proud of yourself to remain smoke free. Wish you all relaxing nights and tranquillity. You guys, I understand what you're saying. Everyone here understands craves. But.... I feel so bad that you guys are having an overly hard time. It seems a little more than bumps in the road. I am wondering if you have gotten in sort of a mental rut? Could that be? The brain is a powerful thing and I wish I had the wisdom and expertise to help you tap into it right now. Maybe we could start a thread...or find a good one to bump that will make you shut those craves off for a bit. Please stay close and write us often. Know that I care. Sometimes it helps just to know someone listened. Tryagain& Bobbi, I know how you feel right now I have had the same thing over a week now. I feel like I am in a boxing ring and keep getting knocked down. It is to the point that even my (safe places) where I never smoked are not working. Not much seems to calm them down. My neighbors must think I am crazy because I keep going in and out I hope they think I am checking the garden. Keep strong we will all get through this somehow. Lots of reading and posting. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 68 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,360 Amount Saved: $442.00 Life Gained: Days: 9 Hrs: 15 Mins: 35 Seconds: 58

This morning was just horrible. I woke up at 3am wanting a cigarette so bad, if I had one available I might just have caved. The tension hits my neck the worst, which makes my right hand go numb with pain, pins and needles. I laid there for two hours trying to get back to sleep. Finally I got up, took a couple of aspirins, cut a 2mg nicotine gum in half and put a neck massager around my neck. I've got a TENS unit, later when my husband wakes up, I'll dig it out and use that. Saturday I had a bad craving that I tried to deal with by deep breathing. Unfortunately, my deep breathing turned into hyperventilating and I couldn't catch my breath at all. I'm well over 100 days still with cravings, I've seen others get them at over 200 days, but sometime after 500 days there aren't many at all. Time is on my side. All I have to be is persistent. If it doesn't kill me first.
